Congregational Outreach Projects are Going Well

In December we brought gifts for the ladies and children residing in our local domestic violence shelter.  Each woman received more than 10 gifts each.  The children had A LOT!!!

In January we had our first lunch serving at Our Lady's Inn.  This was so much fun!  We prepared, by request, burgers and fries.  Sister Kaye made her famous dump cake!!  We played with the children and enjoyed our morning as guests in their home.

February and March we have been collecting kitchen items for the Celebration House opening soon in St. Charles.  The Celebration House will house women who are fresh out of drug/alcohol rehab as they progress toward wholistic healing and sustaining recovery.  These items will be presented to Celebration House on the 2nd Sunday of April.

Our next trip to Our Lady's Inn will be Saturday, May 29th.  We will treat the residents and staff to a cook out!!!  Get ready to enjoy friendship and fun!!
